Throughout 2025, we’ve encountered a collective mix of Anna Wintour’s old and new favorites on the cover of Vogue<\/em>. Regulars like Gigi Hadid<\/a> have graced the American fashion bible, while Wintour (who has served as editor-in-chief since 1988) has championed fresh talent like Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> and Angel Reese<\/a>. The Summer 2025 issue of Vogue <\/em>sees Hailey Bieber take to the cover. The last time Wintour welcomed the American beauty as cover star, was back in March 2019<\/a>, when she was joined by husband Justin Bieber. Six years later, Hailey goes solo via the lens of photographer Mikael Jansson. Vogue<\/em>‘s Tonne Goodman was called upon for styling duties, opting to dress the Rhode founder and Anthony Vaccarello<\/a> favorite in a striped shirt from Prada in the vibrant, refreshing, and water-drenched cover photograph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“That’s not a bad cover. Lovely colors. I do wish Hailey was looking at the camera though. I just can’t fully appreciate a cover (usually) where the subject is looking away,” voiced MyNameIs<\/a> straight away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vogue28<\/a> felt the same way. “My one critique is Hailey not engaging with us readers, which just ruins this completely for me (such a pet peeve of mine). The whole water concept also just reminded me of last year’s Kendall Jenner<\/a> cover which was executed far FAR better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I wish she was looking at the camera, and I don\u2019t understand her as a cover choice, but overall, I like it. It\u2019s very easy summer and I appreciate that,” LastNight<\/a> chimed in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet not everyone was buying it. “This is a new low,” declared forum member Hchloe<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Vogue <\/em>always FAIL when they’re too pretentious on their cover photo choices. This looks like a still from a commercial,” commented crmsn<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
