Alicia Vikander is one of those actresses who doesn’t exactly have the best reputation here on theFashionSpot, when it comes to delivering strong cover imagery. Throughout time, covers of Vogue <\/em>Scandinavia<\/a>, Vogue Japan<\/a>, Harper’s Bazaar<\/em><\/a> and American Vogue<\/em><\/a> <\/em>featuring the Swedish actress have all been a total… flop. Nevertheless, that has not stopped Kenya Hunt from welcoming Vikander as British ELLE<\/em>‘s September 2024 cover star. The Louis Vuitton brand ambassador<\/a> was last on the British fashion title’s front cover back in October 2020<\/a> and just like four years ago, is wearing a look from the French fashion house in this month’s cover photograph, shot by Tom Schirrmacher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“On a cover telling us to “RISE UP!” they put a shot of Alicia Vikander about to fall into a narcoleptic episode. Makes sense,” laughed blueorchid<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Really quite shocked at seeing what they’ve done to her here? To me Alicia has always been one of the faces that hasn’t worked amazingly well on covers, despite her being absolutely beautiful in real life. This however is incredibly bizarre? It looks like they’ve really altered her face,” commented honeycombchild<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fauxfashion<\/a> noted: “I love Alicia Vikander, but she looks tired and exhausted.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“What an unattractive and deeply unflattering cover! The makeup it atrocious, and it’s the lack of lashes throwing this whole thing off. Alicia looks completely washed out,” vogue28<\/a> voiced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
