You just have to hand it to In\u00e9s Lorenzo. Subsequent to taking up the mantel as head of editorial content at Vogue <\/em>Spain HQ, Lorenzo has successfully managed to support homegrown talent via the Spanish fashion bible’s front covers. Everyone from Blanca Padilla<\/a> and Pen\u00e9lope Cruz<\/a> to \u00c1ngela Molina<\/a> and Rosal\u00eda<\/a> have graced the magazine during Lorenzo’s tenure – some on more than one occasion. Bad Gyal is unveiled as the magazine’s April 2024 cover star, marking the Spanish singer and songwriter’s very first Vogue <\/em>cover appearance. Via the lens of photographer Campbell Addy, Bad Gyal poses under clear blue skies in the warm and inviting cover photograph, dressed by stylist Harry Lambet in a floral top and skirt from Francesco Risso’s Spring 2024<\/a> Marni collection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Out of all the Euro editions of Vogue<\/em>, I feel like Vogue <\/em>Spain remains the strongest and most\u2026 consistent. At the very least, In\u00e9s Lorenzo regularly champions homegrown talent – this being a prime example. No idea who Bad Gyal is and that Marni dress (looking like Lady Gaga’s meat dress) is an eyesore but the lighting and colors are beautiful,” reasoned vogue28<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
